Fibrillated Polypropylene String Wound Filters

With a chemical resistance equal to standard polypropylene media, Coleman Filter Company Fibrillated Polypropylene String Wound Cartridge Filters are an economical solution for reducing fine sediment including sand, silt, rust and scale particles. It is a non-migrating slit film polypropylene - free of extractables that we recommend for use in ultra-pure liquids, electronics, and plating where non-leaching is critical. It has very high dry or wet strength and the lowest static propensity of any string wound filter. In addition, Fibrillated Polypropylene has low moisture adsorption and outstanding abrasion resistance. String wound filters are a 'depth' filter created by winding diamonds onto a core with 1" to 4" of filtration media. Depth Fibrillated Polypropylene filters provide a high dirt holding/retention capability with low media migration.
